im gettings disconnected all the time.

if im in the middle of downloading a file thru mozilla it will time out randomly between 1 - 2 minutes. ive rang them they cant find any problem. they say my download upload is ok

ive rang telecom they said our home line was super bad. had constant disturbance. so they sent a tech to fix it. didnt solve any issues. our home line is really noisy. so they sent a guy round to check the wiring. so far. nothing has changed. teh fone line doesnt seem crackly any more so im assuming the phone line has been repaired etc.

although now. im getting dc'd all the time.
especially when playing a game online. it just times out even a few seconds after connecting.
or refreshing a list of ip's can cause it to become unresponsive.

i thought perhaps it was tcpip halfopen limit to 100 with windows 7. cause some sp2's or something i hear change it to only 10 connections. but mine doesnt have any restrictions on 7 ultimate. so.. not sure wtf is going on

i do speed tests. ive never been able to download faster than 400k a second. and only for a few minutes before it just stops/times out.

slingshot is by far the worst isp i have been with.
