I have a interesting query on 2 degrees sim Expiry. I have a prepay sim which I haven't topped up for over a  year. I believe the 12 months expiry was 23 October 2011. As I was not using I thought I would ME2U away the credit balance to a friends 2 degrees phone leaving a 9c credit Balance which I thought would expire in October. I then thought I had another month and the account would close I don't need the number.

On being curious I tried to access the account on your 2 degrees. I find the 9c credit is still there and expiry date has changed to 12 October 2012. I assume this is 12 months from when I took out the ME2U Credit.

Not complining or anything but it looks strange to me

Hi John,

That is what I thought but then credit expiry would be 23 October 2011 and account expiry 23 November 2011. Instead in your 2 degrees  the credit balance expiry is 12 October 2012.  The closure of the account is something I am monitoring for my own curiosity. Maybe I should go back and check there were no top ups made without my knowledge.

Edit Just checked no top ups made in October 2011

FYI - I've noticed the same thing. Current expiry date is 23 October 2012, about the time that I made a ME2U to clear out most of the credit. Last topup would have been about 7 months earlier. Will have to wait another 4 months to see if the account closes, but I may have given away the SIM by then.

Why not just delete the post's. I guess everyone should be happy with how it is. Why get something fixed when it is benefiting everyone ;)
