Hi there

I have had a search though the site here and cannot find a definitive answer on the compatibility of the Nero Blu-Ray/HD DVD Plugin
( http://www.nero.com/ena/bluray-hddvd-video-plugin.html ) with our version of HD DVB-T. Can anyone confirm if it will work, may work or has no chance? I plan to use HVR-2200 and 9600GT cards in addition to my specs below and already have Nero 8 so seems to be a fairly cheap (US$30) option to get the right codec along with some extra functionality for Nero?

What software do you plan to use?

sub (author of GB-PVR) has explained that H.264 decoders aren't easily interchangeable like mpeg2 codecs so the answer at present is probably no.

I'm currently running Vista MC (Ultimate) and had planned to try GB-PVR with it. Might have a good look through their forum too.

GB-PVR has no support for it, only FFDshow (no hw acceleration) or Cyberlink (hardware acceleration).

You do not need to buy Cyberlink to use the codec.

I just installed and ignored the request for the key, sure it won't run but other programs can use the Codec.

Does the PowerDVD trial version not have some sort of crippling built into it to prevent continuous use of the codec after the trial expires?
