bought the JCMatthew DVB-TB01 receiver yr ago, and the recording function is working fine, always watched one channel and recording the other same time. But since last night, i was recording sth from Channel 28,( Chinese TV), and wife wants to watch TV1, the receiver wont let me change the channel,  it juz says" theres recording exist, the function is invalid." and try to change to other channel, says same thing. The only one allowed is Maori Channel!

anyone got idea what happened??

also called JCMatthew guy, he say my receive is not support recording and watch the other channel function coz its not dual core. and ask him why i can do it before, he says might be some of those channel change their bandwidth, or i juz luckly before!!

What s going on with my receiver???

Are you sure you could watch any other channel before? The channels are in groups, maybe your unit can only watch a channel that is within the mux being recorded and you just never realised?

Could you record TV3 and watch One?

That model is a single-tuner receiver. It can only access a single digital multiplex at once. There are three - TVNZ's, Mediawork's and Kordia's. As channel 28 is on the Kordia multiplex, you will only be able to watch other channels on the Kordia multiplex like Maori television while recording from c28.

If you tune in your television into the stations being broadcast on analogue then you can fall back to watching via that while you're recording.

It will say in your television's manual how to tune in the television.
