Hey Folks,

Hope you all staying safe and healthy and inside your bubble. I need your opinion regarding coding bootcamp in New Zealand. At the moment there are severals providers, are they the real deal like that coding bootcamp in the States? Do people do actually can get a job from bootcamp in New Zealand? I’m new in the coding world, I started learning web developing as a hobby, and I’m toying with the idea of switching career into IT world. Not really sure if I need to start from uni or can just get by from coding bootcamp!
Appreciate the thoughts and opinions.

It depends exactly what you're looking at. There are quite a few "Bootcamp" providers to "get jobs" that are just scams, even in NZ.

The one I'm looking at in Wellington is Enspiral Dev Academy, my only choice really. Apparently it is common in US or Europe to get into an into job without CS degree, just by Bootcamp and self-learning. Is it the case in New Zealand?

From what I've heard, Enspiral is great. You can get a job in NZ without a degree etc but you will probably need to know someone inside the company (possibly developing the relationship over time on LinkedIn) as you may not get past the HR filter with no degree.
