If you want to put Google assistant on your galaxy watch from galaxy 3 frontier upwards which works really well and doesn't use lot battery, link to instructions which takes a bit of work to set up but once done very good app and don't need bixby.

Yep.

Installed it yesterday. Works well. Galaxy S10 and Gear S3 Frontier. (So disregard the bit about it not working on the S3). My S3 is on Tizen 4.0.0.4 and One UI.

There is also a YouTube video by Jabber Tech (How-to install the Google Assistant on Samsung Galaxy Watch). Although he rattles through it pretty quickly I found it easier to follow than the video on XDA.

Thanks. Installed with no problems. Working great here.

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

Thanks so much for this info - I've followed the Youtube video and it all went perfectly, but you're right about the speed at which he goes! Usually, I don't bother with using videos for such instructions as they take forever to cover the content and waste time with unnecessary detail, but this guy was to the point.

Not sure how much I'll use it in practice, vs a 'hey Google' voice command to the phone (or a Home if at home), but we'll see...
