I have a HTC Desire running Froyo, with Sense.  The standard HTC Music app is pretty good, but I was wondering if there's something better out there.  It would be nice to search by genre and date, and to edit star ratings and tags.  I'm not willing to give up the playback controls in the lock screen though.

Has anyone found a better music app?

Try Cubed, it's pretty nice, has a bunch of features you might want to try.

My favourite is Meridian Pioneer.

If you want a more functional version of the already supplied one, try music mod.

Lifehacker put together a nice roundup of music player alternatives.

Check it out.
