Hi Everyone, wondering if you could help please.  I currently am the proud owner of a nexus google phone but a must have a dud phone after numerous issues and being sent away for repairs twice I am taking it back to either get a replacement nexus or other.  So before I do that I thought I would ask the experts!
i love the nexus - so would be more than happy to go for a proper working one again but are there any others you deem as being better than the nexus currently on the market? i would appreciate any advise.
I currently use the phone for work esp when out of town on business as a modum/harddrive/internet/emails etc and use microsoft for my other computers etc.  And advise greatly received. thanks

by nexus i assume you mean nexus one.

If Nexus One replacement is not available, you might also want to consider the HTC Desire, which is almost identical to the Nexus One

Other android phones that are higher spec'd than the nexus one;

HTC Desire HD
Samsung Galaxy S i9000
Nexus S (Sequal to the Nexus One, made by samsung)

also consider

Huawei X5 (aka Huawei U8800) (similar in specs to nexus one)

Otherwise these upcoming phones are also good, but won't be available for another few months;

LG Optimus Black
LG Optimus 2X
Motorolla Atrix
Sony Xperia Arc
Huawei X6
Samsung Galaxy S II i9100

HTPC / Home automation (home assistant) enthusiast.

+1 for Huawei X5, that looks sweet for the price.

All comments are my own opinion, and not that of my employer unless explicitly stated.

I am happy with my Nexus One which I bought on release day. Of course I should mention when I was back in the US over Christmas I went through 2 replacements from HTC with each one having nagging faults.

The current one I have is working fine, so much so that I put my brand new Nexus S up for sale since I felt it wasn't justified having that :-(

Staying in Wellington. Check out my AirBnB in the Wellington CBD.  Mention GZ to get a 10% discount
