Hi guys! I want your biased opinions on probably the most asked question here:
I'm looking to buy a Android phone and want recommendations on what to get.
I'm currently looking at the HTC range (loving that HTC sense) and the Samsung Galaxy.

Uses
- Development for apps (doing Computer Science level 3 papers and developing apps)
- Personal organisation (calendar, emails)
- Communication (duh!)

Opinions of types of phone to get, and where to buy it would be extremely helpful!

Thanks in advance,
Jack Attack

eking.co.nz for a reliable local estore.

htc desire s is my vote

However, personally, I would advice motorola's defy and atrix. These a real kickass devices. Right specs, right build quality and right price.

If you want a QWERTY keyboard, get the HTC Desire Z. I <3 mine. Can type pretty fast on it

Also consider the HTC Incredible S. It's similar to the Desire HD but better battery, slightly smaller screen (4"). The phone is black stealth like called "murdered out". It's a great phone.

If you're willing to wait a few months then theres the HTC Evo 3D or Pyramid/Sensation. HTC is supposed to be making an announcement on April 12 which a lot of people seem to think will be about the Pyramid.
Id also say have a look at clove.co.uk :)

Galaxy S as they are quite good value right now ~$600 incl P&P from eking.  You can't buy a better phone at that price point.

I have decided to purchase a HTC Desire, it was $604 from eking, and was perfect for my budget. Hopefully should arrive by the end of this week. Thanks to kobiak for pointing out eking, got a really great deal!
