Hey guys,

I have an HTC Sensation and have noticed that there is an update available. when I install it on my phone it reboots then comes up with a screen with a android and a triangle with a ! in it. I have factory reset my phone but still no luck have contacted htc they were no help too. Any ideas?

This affects my sensation also, which is running the stock rom(although rooted and s-off).

 

Has anyone managed to find a fix for this(apart from not updating).

The issue is caused by having a non-standard recovery image on the device (eg clockworkmod) - If you try to install a official update it will fail, the only way to fix this is to totally flash back to the standard HTC recovery image.

Yep, I have noticed with HTC devices as soon as you mess with the recovery /at all/ updates will fail, the other way is to send the phone away for a software reflash (which Cam did) - sometimes a flash to the default firmware/recovery image fixes it.
