I have a Samsung Galaxy s with a stock rom.
I was looking through 'My Apps' in the android market and found an app called Karoges that I definitely didn't install. There is no way to uninstall it as when I go to 'Manage Applications' on my phone it doesn't appear. Also searching for the app on the Android Market comes up with no results
I googled it and came across this:

I'm not sure what to do in case it's malware or something similar. Any suggestions please.

Thank you in advance :)

appears it is harmless but has taken place of your stock video player when it updated

Thanks for your reply, but I would still like to be able to uninstall it.
