Hi, last night I was trying to stream F1 FP2 on iSky. Unfortunately the buffering made it completely unwatchable. It would play for maybe 10 sec, buffer for a min or so, play for 10 secs, buffer for 1 min....you get the idea.

I have done a recent speedtest, ignore the upload it has never worked.

I would have thought with those speeds I would at least be able to stream in sd? Or am I missing something....

Thanks

I bet you it falls over again tonight when the rugby starts. It has the last two Saturdays... It doesn't seem to handle the high loads.

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

Orcon should theoretically have the best isky experience because all the content is hosted on the Orcon CDN

I'll see how it goes tonight with FP3, I'm hoping it is good because there arn't many high quality streams out there. What sort of bandwidth would you think iSky uses, cant be more than 5mbit?

It is CIF resolution (512x288) at 1.4 Mbps. If you call this high quality then your standards are very low.

Spyware: It is CIF resolution (512x288) at 1.4 Mbps.

So mustn't have been an issue with bandwith.

Try to watch FP3 at the moment and getting the dreadful "this content is currently unavalible". It is so fustrating because it is by far the best quality stream, when it works.
