I'm trying to set up sky multi room at my mates place down the road, had it set up and working at my place. The decoder is a black pace dsr600. The lnb on top of his roof is the oval kind... I've tried all the different settings I can think of... Any help would be really appreciated, this sky business is driving me insane.

Call Sky. They normally come and set it up when you order it.

Check the LNB settings from your mate's original Sky decoder and match those in the multiroom decoder.
But as runningman said Sky should have set this up for you mate so call them.

Sky won't help.... Multiroom is for a different room in the SAME house, Well using the extra decoder in another house will work, it breaks the TOS you agreed to when signing up.

Your best bet would be to call a non sky aerial installer. Seeing as they are just down the road you your LNB settings should be the same

Geographic location has nothing to do with the LNB. It is all to do with wich LNB is actually installed. It will be either 10750 or 11300. try each until it works. Cyril7 posted a tutorial on this a few years ago. Search for it if you are unsure what to do.
