My son suggested Igloo to me, as it adds a couple of channels I used to watch when I previously had Sky.

Got the box home and tried to connect via the DVD recorder (Panasonic DMR - ES 15), records to disc, no hard drive.  I rarely use the DVD player/recorder, but would like it going.  Anyway - followed some instructions i got off the net for connecting everything, but Igloo wasn't detected.

I disconnected the DVD player/recorder and Igloo is now all set up.

My question is - if I reconnect the DVD into the mix, should Igloo work.  I'm assuming I didn't have the order of some cables correct.

Thanks

how is it connected.  I dont have either but I had one freeview box cant remember name but it would only put video through through the red, yellow and white cables. Would not output video through component.
So if you use component it may not work.  I have one here now that does but only puts out SD through component.
So if you are using component try composite instead. red, white yelloe

I'm using the red, yellow and white cables. I've just realised that I didn't have the DVD turned on - maybe that was the issue?
