We are at our bach for a short holiday and the kids wanted to bring our SKY multi room decoder to watch TV at night. It works fine at our house but after connecting all the cords at the bach, all I receive is a "No signal - Rain fade" message. I have been looking over the forum and while there is a couple of discussions on the topic, there isn't much in the way of advice on how to fix this issue.

I was wondering if anyone would be able to help us out? That is, does any one know the options I need to select to get it working. The satellite dish we have has an oval white thing facing the dish which I have read means it is 10750MHz frequency LNB. Our decoder is an old school Motorola one. Other than that I am at an absolute loss.

If it helps we are from Palmerston North (don't hold it against me) and the bach is just outside of Taupo.

Thanks so much for any help on insight that can be given,

Two possibilities spring to mind.
Your two dishes have different LO frequencies so you need to change the LO frequency in your setup menu to 10750 - or
Your LNB is dead.

Try changing the LNB setting as suggested above. Also you can actually ring sky and say you have it at your batch this week and they will trouble shoot it with you!
