While watching TV3 last night and tonight via sky I noticed an Intermittent stutter that sort of slows down the picture and audio for a second or two and then goes back to normal.  I have yet to watch anything else on another channel to verify if it's a TV3 issue or a mysky decoder issue.  Anybody else notice something similar?

I had the same thing yesterday and earlier this evening. Only on channel 3. We were watching it on a mysky decoder.

Yep, same here in Tekapo with original MySky box. Only on TV3, programmes and news. We had recorded the news for two nights in a row and I thought it might have been a playback error but happened live too.

I am getting the same thing on Freeview terrestrial so it's obviously a problem with TV3 rather than the transport of the signal.

hdinsider: Was that on TV3+1 Alasta?

Hmmm...I'm just trying to remember. I noticed the problem on Wedesday night and definitely experienced it when I was watching 3rd Degree on TV3+1, but I have a feeling that I may have also noticed it on TV3 earlier that night.

Having said that I watched TV3 for a brief period last night and didn't notice any problems.

Noticed it here too on TV3 HD and Normal TV3 on DVB-S/S2.

Thanks, I found out it was only Sky TV3 HD and TV3plus1 SD. This has been fixed now according to the techs.

Anybody else suffering from atmospheric condition messages very often?  Satellite TV is currently unwatchable and I'm wondering whether it is a consequence of the windy weather a few days ago pushing the dish/lnb out of alignment with D1 OR if there are actually proper atmospheric conditions causing trouble in Auckland.
