FWIW I had my Sky Fibre changeover yesterday and after the largish job of swapping the network wifi devices over its now all done.

Simple and fast, did a ookla speed test yesterday on hardwire 921Mb down and 523Mb up.

$119.65 per month for 12 months

Well wasn't expecting it considering I am only paying 50% of the usual cost for Sky it was a very nice surprise to get an email offering me the choice of two rewards.

Pretty similar to what other long term customers have been offered. Movies or Entertainment packages for two weeks

Try texting Krish, his contact details are back on page 70. He set me up back in May last year. I can't see any posts that indicate he's no longer doing deals.

Krish isn't with Sky any longer and the deals are no longer being done. Was advised to call Sky for the best deal available, but that is what I already did.

I also just rang him and he explained he is no longer doing it. Suggest someone changes the page 70 post to no longer be ticked as the 'Answer'

I didn't bother to call them when cancelling my subscription recently. Just emailed them to say I wanted to cancel.

That was on the 8th July, it was 9 days later I received a reply to offer me the following:

* 20% discount off your chosen package for 12 months, on a 12-month minimum term (early exit fee of $149.99 applies), or
* Sky Sport @15.95 per month for 3 months (with minimum Sky Starter), or
* Downgrade to the Digital Rental/Holding package, free for 2 months.

I'm only interested in watching the EPL so having to pay for a bunch of channels I'll never watch and then sports on top leaves me looking at SSN and that doesn't fill me with confidence based on Sky's previous attempts.

Hah, Ive only just found out that SkyGo works on two devices simultaneously. They must have changed that because I always thought it was one...

Ahh...that's interesting. Did you try from two different 'locations' (IP addresses, say mobile data & a fixed connection)? I wonder if it was more of something broken on their end allowing it rather than it supposed to work like that haha.

Is that on top of watching it on the STB?

Yes, considering skygo is separate from the STB. I had wondered occasionally why I could watch skygo on my phone whilst my housemate had it going on her laptop.

I thought Sky go was only available to Sky Subscribers?

I had a friend recently say that him and his brother in law can both watch skygo simultaneously, which is even more odd when my friend claims his brother in law cancelled their sky account some time ago but skygo is still active.
