Hi guys

I have been reading through the forums and have seen that some of you have been offered deals through telemarketers.

Just wondering if anyone has been able to snag that deal which includes sports, movies and mysky for the base price lately?

Cheers,
Tony

The information in the answer is correct.

Feel free to ring 0800 4 SKY TV (0800 475 988) yourself to check.

My father-in-law will very soon be moving into a rest home, and is able to have Sky installed there.  He is currently a subscriber, but we were wanting to take advantage of this great deal (he's only interested in sports, and his TV doesn't support FullHD, so the $39 package would be best.  Does anyone know if it's possible for us to cancel his existing subscription, and for us to then subscribe using this deal (and we would pay for it), but have it installed at the rest home?

That should be no problem.

I believe you could also just order a $25/mo multiroom decoder for yourself and install it at the rest home - that's what a lot of people do for their beach house decoder. I doubt Sky would approve of that though.

Thanks for that.  I have no interest in Sky, and don't want it installed at our house, so we'd just get it installed at the rest home but under our name.

The last few posts are way off topic. This is a sky deals thread. If you want to have a chat/winge about Sky in general then start another thread.

Please keep on topic.
