Any clever Sky guys seen this before? Certainly doesn't happen on my older FullHD Samsung but when I take my MySky away to the beach the FullHD Bravia looks like the image below (cant say ive noticed it before so maybe due to a software update recently?) . The grey areas are where the problem lies.

Program Info as below looks normal.

I presume you mean the wavy lines? Looks like wavy Moire pattern we used to get on the old CRT TVs. Doesn't happen with digital.
Seen it a lot lately on Sport and History channels on my basic Sky box. I think it's just crap transmission. On the sport I figured they may have been using an analogue link somewhere in their OB setup (like stump cam etc).
I'm using a SONY 40 connected via component video leads. Wasn't so noticeable on my SONY 32.
With the overlay could be just the way the layers are mixing.

No, thats just the way my camera a captured the image on the TV (think its refresh rate related)

The problem is the greyed area in the planner, the quality of the text is poor and the text at the bottom of the page is very ghosted and almost illegible.

My mysky shows the same dark colours, almost inversed, as your top pic. It happens immediately after been rebooted after a power failure, and goes away after a few seconds.

The problem seems to be the background is black on the Sony making the white areas grey and White on the Samsung?
