Hi.

Swapped our sky box, was working fine on old box, plugged in new box, same exact connections.

Now neither box is getting listings or showing live TV. Red signal light on front of box and under setup, signal test, it shows all <41DBUV and 0DB under quality for all 4 tuners.

Cables seem right and well connected.

I also have a Sky RF box with 35 in LED on it (Might be for sky to show in our kitchen. Tried resetting it.

Output is via HDMI and I can see the Sky Box on the TV, so that part is right. Seems aerial or back.

Ok got our old sky box working again stranglely by plugging into port 4 instead of port 2 where it was plugged in before. The new box however, doesn't detect any signal on any port.

Possibly the LNB setting? Anyone know how to change that setting on the mySkyHDI box?

What should it be?

Yah found it and got working just a few seconds ago! Was the LNB and it has to be connected to port 4 for some reason! Happy now.

The old Satellite uses LNB 11:30 and ours 10:75 it seems. Not sure which is better.

Older LNBs used 11.3 GHz for their LO and the newer multi-port ones mostly use 10.75 GHz from what I've seen.  Neither is necessarily better, they are just different according to the design of the LNB.

There are 2 types of LNB sky use, broken down into 2 types on 2 frequency's.
