Whats the current news with the VFTV box?

Had terrible reivews when it was the T-box, but has it moved on?

I've had MySky for a long time now, and it's a good system. Will I be frutsrated going to VFTV?
(I'm going to cable as my VDSL is horrid, and I'll lose the $15 / mo MySky discount, but can get VFTV for free + sky charges)

The 2 boxes are different. VF TV design is now several years old but it functions well enough. Depending on where you are your experience may vary.

I've never had issues with the box, and I have one of the originals from 2010 which is still running. The interface is slow and times and the remote is bit temparamental depending on where you are in the room.

But I wouldn't put a dish on the house or drop cable (until UFB is available anyway).

Personally I'd prefer to do away with the box completely and use an ATV or Roku (like Telstra), but that's a convo for another day.

The content is just sky repackaged now - no unique content.
