Hi there

Our myski HDI upgrade was completed overnight, however it won't work through my Denon AVR590 receiver (it worked perfectly fine prior to the upgrade).

I can connect the myski box directly to the TV using an HDMI cable and it works fine?

It seems like the AMP and Myski won't sync now?

Some help would be much appreciated.

Thanks Mark.

Both

Other HDMI input such as apple TV and blueray player still work fine.

Sounds like an HDCP issue. Try another reset of the MySky (hold 'select' and 'back' buttons on front of unit until all lights come on). Failing that try adjusting the MySky output resolution to something different while connected directly to TV and then try again through the amp.

the reset method does not work since the update, use the red reset button front right under the mysky logo. *edit* Press it for 5 seconds, box will reset then start the restart process, takes about 2 min to restart.

Turn off HDMI control on your amplifier, do a factory reset on your AVR and as a final resort, swa out an HDMI cable...

I have heard (anecdotally) that MySky has broken HDMI handshakes previously, so hopefully it's not this.
