I have one of the new Kaon MySky units, and its hard drive is getting full.

I want to offload recordings onto my DVD recorder. I can deal to the copy protection easily enough, but have to do the transfer manually program by program.

I see from the MySky HDi and MySky manuals that are on the Sky website that you can queue up multiple programs as playlists. That would be ideal, as I could batch-offload material to the DVD recorder overnight.

Unfortunately the red playlist button that is shown in the planner screenshots in these manuals seems to be abesnt when I call the planner up.

Does anyone know whether it is possible, and if so how, to use playlists on the new box?

The Sky website isn't much help, and two enquiries to Sky have just produced random replies about the on demand function, which were utterly unrelated to my question.

It got removed when the new interface was pushed out. Maybe it wasn't used too much? I only used it for copying off shows like you.

Drat, I feared that might have been the case.

Another thing to add to the lengthening list of things Sky has done to annoy me.

Dropped two of my channel packages on the weekend (which will at least save me circa $40 a month). Very close to cancelling entirely.
