I read an article on the Apple TV in which Neon was quoted as saying an app would be available soon.
Will this every happen, does anyone know?

There is some content on neon that I like to watch but AirPlay is cumbersome.

Note: the article was a stuff review from November 2015

Common sense is not as common as you think.

I cancelled my subscription because of the lack of HD. That and the samsung TV app kept having audio:video sync issues.

@SeymourScagnetti
Hi Mark
Do you have an equivalent @ Sky that may be willing to let us know what is going on with Neon?

Regards
Kirk.

Hi Kirk,

I should be able to help you out.

HD is imminent for NEON. We are literally working out the last few kinks in the content publishing process.

I am sorry to hear about the Samsung TV app - is it still playing up? If so please PM me and I'll follow up on you model number etc. As you Samsung TVs have a raft of variants so detail is useful in tracking down bugs.

We are working on new devices at the moment with Panasonic TV and PS4 in the works.

Hopefully this helps

Cheers
Alex

As much as we'd like to do everything at once I can tell you Apple TV is on the Neon roadmap but not yet in development.

Done. I can't promise that it is high on the list though.

5.1 isn't something we'll be able to do in the near future unfortunately. We're reliant on Sky to make some changes to enable the.

You can cast from the NEON iOS and Android apps direct to your Sony Android TV using Google Cast (just like you would cast to a real Chromecast device). Just make sure you've updated the Google Cast app on the TV first as some older versions of the app have trouble playing content.

See the post above.... on the roadmap but not in development... I would assume to mean that this is a long way off unfortunately.
