Well the sooner someone comes up with the new smartvu apk the sooner the prime stream source can be shared on other softwares.

 

I know, how about i ask dishtv the stream source..! yeah right

They've done some tweaks to the APK to obfuscate the code and try to hide the URLs. Running it via a router with packet sniffing enabled might allow us to identify the stream URLs.





Generally known online as OpenMedia, now working for Red Hat APAC as a Technology Evangelist and Portfolio Architect. Still playing with MythTV and digital media on the side.

This isn't from the APK but streams via e-cast

 

I can monitor network traffic on my smartVU when I get back home Sunday if required to confirm

I'm well aware of the ecast stream link but thats not really for the general public. I doubt smartvu are using that link as the smartvu one should be an official one not  a 3rd party url, as part of the freeview service as announced by prime/sky.

only managed to get part of the url so far, just the host, need to try get an SSL cert installed on the box unless someone else has an idea
