I think that was referring to the 12 month discount (roughly 10%) offered to people switching from Vodafone TV to Sky direct which will expire in April (12 months from the switchover). If you are one of those then if you login to your account on the Sky website you'll see what your price will be from April when the discount ends. I only have it for sport so currently paying $56.95 per month for starter plus sport, which becomes $63.98 from 18 April when the 12 months is up. You can probably get another discount then if you call and ask for one/threaten to cancel etc.

My sky pod has suddenly become extremely slow to the point it's almost unusable. Is anyone else suffering from this issue? There is nothing wrong with my network - 950mbs down, 100mbs up.

Just reset the device by disconnecting the power for 30 secs. Now running ok once more.

There is going to be a subscription update next month Price Change 2023 (sky.co.nz)

SoHo will become part of our Sky Entertainment package from 1 October 2023. Any customer who subscribes to Sky Entertainment will now be able to access SoHo. Customers without Sky Entertainment can still subscribe to SoHo Channel for $9.99 p/mth.

I don't know if this has already been mentioned but on the New Sky Box if watching something on Planner that is still recording and you reach the live point it will kick you back to the start.

Particually annoying if you are several hours into say something like golf and instead of stopping when reaching the live point and letting you resume there, it takes you all the way back to the start.

Fairly certain on Mysky when you caught up it to live it would say end of recording but you could hit play and resume at that point.

@Robbo68. I totally agree that this is a real nuisance especially with long recordings.

Ross.

Hi all - currently on hold with Sky. Turned on my box to watch the rugby this am to find it can't find wifi (which it also say's it's connected to). Now, I don't really care if I have wifi or not. How do I skip this step to watch the rugby?

As I said, I'm hold with Sky now. They break into the hold music every minute to tell me the estimate wait time is 1-2 minutes (Great!). But they've also been telling me that for 17 minutes now...

Reboot the box?

Tried turning it off which didn't work, but unplugging it seemed to. Thanks!

Wish the box was more "plug and play".

A few suggestions have been made, but I'm sure there are many more...

Has there been a recent update? My half-watched programs are no longer resuming from where I was watching (reverts to the start).

Watching a recorded program used to start at the 2min mark, now starts at the beginning.

Y'all should just go back to the old box at this time. And those who bought it, I feel ya. I mean, just how long more are you gonna "give this a go"?

The majority of those failures listed were the old Sky box and not relevant to this topic.
