Hi

A friend returning to NZ is wondering if his sky UK box will work here - http://www.sky.com/portal/site/skycom/skyproducts/skytv/skyplus

Any ideas welcome.

My understanding is that no, Sky UK boxes will not work at all here.

It's only use will be as a doorstop.

No, even the adding other services will not work here because it needs to see its home transponder to actually let you do anything.

Friend has 3 of them hoping to be able to use them - not to be the case sadly.
