Now that 2009 is near the end what does everyone think are the biggest thing and worst fizzers in the world of SKY this year?

The new satelite seems a real fizer - what good has it done anyone!

Why? If the TAB and Sky didn't think it wasn't a good commercial decision it wouldn't of gone to air. I'm betting they know what they are doing - they are not into wasting money.

Good: TVNZ channels in HD
Bad: no other HD channels added (particularly around the 70 -75 range)

Bad:
The constant freezes, "For your information - z362" when trying to save Power Saving settings and occasionally when trying to get into Planner.

Otherwise, everything seems great.

look at it this way. if they have more bitting channnels more poeple will bet and when poeple lose money. and cannot pay sky then sky will lose. and tab and tracksite. we just need trackside. tab runs and shows the same thing most of the time

TAB TV and Trackside seems to work quite well and fits their exact intentions.

Trackside now has breathing space to lead in to NZ races nicely, while TAB TV is just a continuous stream of races (and more of them)

Fizzer: Optus D3 (for NZ anyhow), lack of new content and channels I like.
Good: Prime on Freeview, Comedy Central

OK, I can hear your phone ringing, it's John Fellet at Sky wanting to know if you are interested in the Chief Financial Officers job - he thinks your on to something that they don't know. PS - have you got a spell checker?

But back to the topic, no complaints with MySky HDi at all from us. More and/or HD channels and features would be better, but they will happen when they happen.
