Morning guys,

Just wondered what the Sky Sports NZ coverage of the English Premiership was like?
Are there live games aired Sunday morning time?

Highlights show on, stuff like that.

I went onto the Sky tv guide website, but could only see up until Sunday (of next week) at 9am.

Simply put its excellent.

If you follow one of the top six you are likely to be able to watch every game of the season live but I dont know about the others. The are all live, all in HD and although I watch Match of the Day instead there is a highlights package but only lasting an hour you get very little from it.

Its the only reason I have Sky.

Cheers
Martyn

Agree with the above post, it is great coverage, most of the "big four" games are live every weekend and there are usually some delayed as well. Also there is usually a 25 minute highlights package put together by Sky and run on the Sky Sport Highlights channel at 12pm every Sunday, however it isn't very good (too bias towards the games shown on Sky). There's an hour long highlights show every Monday night but, as mentioned earlier, MOTD is better.

Worth noting they only show the games, there is little in the way of pre and post match (although you could argue this is a good thing).

The only issues I have with Sky's coverage is that they don't do the Champions League as well, this is handled by ESPN who naturally ruin it with their own commentators and a rubbish scoreboard. Sky also tend not to show the League and FA Cups's until their latter stages.

Sadly not, you have to get it from, er, other places.

Kind of on topic has anyone thought the 'ball flicker' is worse this year, or is it just me. (The ball flickering when its moving fast from a goal kick or similar) I have a new amp and I am wondering if it is somehow the culprit, as I used to have the MySki HD HDMI straight into the TV, but new amp has HDMI so MySky is now running through that and then on to TV. I am positive the flicker was not as visible (but havent watched a game since last season so maybe I am not used to it)

Just had a quick look at the qpr match and I couldnt see any ball flicker, but it was literally a quick look.

I don't have an amp, just run my sky to tv through hdmi.

Later in the season they generally end up having matches on Sky Sport 2 and 3 at the same time.

The question has been answered, but just to add that as well as a few live and plenty of delayed matches, there is also the Premier League Preview show, looking at the matches coming up, the Premier League Review show, looking at the previous weekend's matches, a Premier League World show, more about news, interviews, etc. and the EPL highlights show that Sky put together here.

There is also a weekly show called Final Score on the BBC News channel with news, highlights, etc. from EPL, the top tiers of the Football League football, and SPL.
