Hi guys,

3 days ago my basic Telecom brand R100 phone started not receiving texts or calls until I make a call then all of a sudden all the texts appear in one go and all the voicemails show up, as any calls I receive go straight to my voicemail for some reason.

I rang Telecom and after 2 hours and totally resetting my phone I still have the same problem. They said it may be a corrupted SIM card.

As everything else on the phone is working and I do get the texts eventually what do you think?

Any help appreciated!

As mentioned, corrupted SIM card is a common problem.

Go to Spark shop and ask if they can replace the SIM as advised.

Thanks for the quick reply!

Can it be corrupt even though it's a 5 year old SIM with no previous problems?

Do I have to pay to replace the SIM?
