A Doro 631 mobile phone.  Just a bare essentials phone. Any body had good or bad experiences with this hand piece. ? Thanks in advance.   smile

I'm interested too.  smile

I have a VF smartphone which I hardly use and costs a fortune to run.

I'm an ultra-light mobile user (1 or 2 calls per month).

Can anybody comment on this phone, and also on VF Pay & Go? - I want a simple plan with casual rates only.

Ideally I'd like to keep my VF mobile number.

I have just bought one of these, and my first impressions are very favorable.

(with Pay & Go - casual rates only - I am a very light user - typically one call per week wink)

To quote from a customer review on the VF website:

"If you hate touchscreen phones and "crunch" the keys of handsets with a standard keyboard... THIS HANDSET IS FOR YOU! The keys are well spaced allowing easy keying and have a good tactile response. ... If you need a simple easy to use handset for sms and voicecalls... you can't go past this one."

Well I took the plunge. The local Warehouse  had a special deal going, 30% off, bought it down to $79.20. !
Nice big screen, can work key pad  with one hand. The local vodafone shop transferred my old number over at no charge. All in all very impressed with their service. And the volume it puts out, wow.
