So last week I dropped my Huawei P9 Lite and it landed on a weird angle that the screen cracked even with a protective case on it. today it became unusable as the glass cracks expanded across the whole screen.

It seems to repair it I would be looking at about $200 - $250 for a phone that sells on trademe for about $300 so not sure its worth repairing

I am thinking it would be worth spending that $250 towards a 'new to me' phone, so second hand is fine.

The main feature is that I want something that takes good pictures and 1080p video.

Open to peoples suggestions around the $500 - $600 price range new or second hand.

If you are with Vodafone (you don't mention operator), have you considered the Smart V8?

Redmi note 3 or 4 of AliExpress. $300 landed and a pretty awesome phone.
