Well i did order from supero.co.nz but just emailed them asking why it has not shipped and they have just said that they don't have any (when there website still shows limited stock). They have cancelled the order and refunded but I have already spent $100nz+ on cases etc for it.

Have just sent them a dirty email about saying they have stock when they don't and how I am out $100.

I only purchased the cases after the order status changed to "Waiting to ship" after it had been at "allocating stock"

Would advise not to use them.

Yeah, I've had this exact same issue with Supero and this other site that shows up on PriceSpy (don't remember which one). Supero in particular were really bad, I waited for a week - never heard anything back from them - until I contacted them to find out whats happening with my order, only to be told that they never had it in stock...

This is why I prefer buying from physical stores like PBTech, even if it's a bit more expensive than the others .

I'm currently having a very interesting email back and forth with them after i suggested that they cover the cost of the covers i have purchased as i only purchased them after I have placed the order with supero as their website said they had stock and my order had changed from allocating stock to "awaiting shipping". They now say they will have them in stock on xmas day and can email me when they have stock.  I told them that i won't be dealing with them again and that I would be putting what happen onto a well known geek forum. They just replied saying read the t&c's so I have asked which of their t&c's have a gag order attached to them.

Put a review up on Pricespy. Supero hates negative reviews on there, they asked me several times to remove the one I left for them when they screwed me over.

So a bit of an update, the oreo beta 1 is out for the 5t, I have been running it for a few days and have had no issues at all with it.  Battery life is great, I take it off the charge at 4.30am and still at 70% when i leave work at 2pm.  During that time I am on it a bit with work emails, facebook, geekzone etc.  This is running 2 sims in the device.

1 think i don't like is the camera, work needs to be done on this.  Some photos have a funny oil painting look.  It seems to be more the camera.apk that oneplus has.  Reports are that the google pixel camera app takes better pictures.

One the plus side, oneplus now shows bluetooth battery levels like you get on iOS devices, this makes me really happy as I have a few pairs of bluetooth headphones :)

I got my Oneplus 5T before xmas from Expert Infotech and loving it so far. Outstanding battery life, superb performance and a great camera - all 3 of my 'must haves' checked well and truly. Happy to help anyone with any specific questions, but highly recommended from me.

They are an awesome phone, i'm loving mine, shame NL don't include the dash charger but understand why, that said a couple of performance tweaks with a pair of pliers and the US spec dash charger works well here in NZ :P

Vibrate is as i would expect it to be, works well, the camera is fast and produces decent pics, portrait mode is very good, I had high hopes for camera and it almost lives up to expectation, I would say it is only a software update away from being amazing

Any feedback on the GPS? The GPS on my OP3 was pretty spotty, sometimes taking ages to get a fix and when it did it used to go all over the place when navigating in the CBD.

mattyb: Any update on availability of the 5T @NikT?

I see they're now available for order on supero.co.nz

Working on it. Hopefully get concrete timeframes soon.

Any updates on this please NikT? I see that the website finally lists the 64GB version, but currently out of stock. :( Any ideas when this will be available? Also, any plans to stock the 128GB version at all? Thanks!

GPS is great, locks on fast, never missed a beat, I use Google maps regularly in driving mode and it's great

Reason I seem to always go back to oneplus.
Charging speed and battery, updates if you're on the beta path is 1+ a month.
It's a multitasking beast.
