I’m getting the OP6. Has the snapdragon 845. Notch won’t bother me too much and frankly the old iPhone 6 I’ve had is now so slow.
Launch date is May 16!

I’m guessing it may be a month or so before pb tech and Noel leeming stock it though.

The OP5T took months for pb and noels to stock it.  Other 3rd party places took about 6 - 8 weeks to get it

Is anyone else having a problem with the stock camera on the OP5T? Recently every now and again I hit the shutter and the camera app crashes and I get 'Unknown error' on the home screen. Seems like there are a few instances on the OP forums of this, but no fix. I contacted their support and they suggested downgrading to OxygenOS 5.0.3, which seems to have reduced the problem but hasn't completely eliminated it. Maybe there's something in 5.1.0. Or perhaps a hardware fault... hmmm...

No problems here, I'm running Oreo Beta7 and have not had any issues with camera app, Beta6 i had issues with the notification pull down missing pars but that now seems resolved with Beta7 for me

My understanding is they sell online at release which is a 30sec mad dash for those lucky enough to be in the first few hundred people, retail stock fulfilled thereafter

FWIW I'm going to stick with 5T, the 6 doesn't bring enough added benefit to upgrade, a higher resolution screen probably would have had me sold, i shall wait and enjoy the 5T for a little longer

I see the OP6 (64GB / 6GB RAM) is now available at PB Tech - RRP $1,071.

Tbh, I'm kind of surprised at the price tag - I would've thought it would've come in at under 1k.

Anyone thinking of upgrading?

That price is a rip off. It’s the 6gb one as well. Its $1063 at parallel imported for the 8gb, just need to wait for stock on the ore order. I’m planning to get it from PI.

Wow, yeah that's a no brainer.

After a quick search online, I see a few other sites how now listed their pricing i.e Becextech.co.nz has the 64GB / 6GB RAM model for $889 which is what I thought PB Tech might have come in at.

Curious - is this your first Android phone? Why the change from iOS and what sets the OP6 apart from other (recent) flagships? - Sorry, not meaning to sound so forward, just interested in hearing peoples opinions.

Yep it’s my first android device. I’m over iOS and lack of innovation and limited configurability it has now. Wife has a Samsung (I don’t like their android bloatware) but do like the clean, near stock implementation of Oxygen.

OP6 is fast too. I’m on an iPhone 6 so this is a big upgrade for me, lol anything now would be faster. I’ve been considering Huawei p20 pro but it’s too pricey for me still. Anyone know when Noel leeming would get the OP6- need to use some vouchers I have.
