I see that the LG 910 watchphone goes on sale in the UK next Thursday on the Orange network.

How long until we get it here in NZ do you reckon?!

It's probably too small to be especially practical, but it is so, so cool!

Sonyericsson have had one for ages but it's never been available here.

I think they;d be a bit rubbish to be honest.

I'm in the UK at the moment so will be keeping an eye on the LG watch phone http://www.gsmarena.com/lg_gd910-review-383.php.

It will be so funny to see the first person walking down the road talking to their watch!

It sure will!

At least they will be paying 50% of the amount we would pay for the call - and probably got the watchphone free as well though....!!

I think you're probably right on that one! Would be interesting to see how much it sells in NZ for.

As a Pom, even after 5 years here I feel rorted every time I see my mobile bill - and I never paid for a handset in 15 years before moving here!

I'll be home to NZ some time soon and then I'll have that to look forward to!

Owwwww!!

I do wish NZ would join the EU so that they could stop this rorting and get some much-needed discipline and regulation.

I can just imagine that watchphone - you set the alarm and wake up late having pressed the wrong button and called the speaking clock in Indonesia!!!

Wow in the UK it's preorder for around the 450 pounds mark!

You'd need some serious techtonic plate movement to join the EU...

Not at all. There are islands in the Pacific that are technically part of the EU because they are French!

Also, there is a road bridge in Suva that the EU paid for. Also...Turkey (not really part of mainland Europe) is likely to be in soon.

So I reckon the geographic requirement is already disregarded based on precedent.
