GEONXT: Oops after thought maybe Newegg have collected pre orders and are now showing a current new order price for the next shipment? makes sense due to the shortage of N900 why they would not be advertising the date? I really hope this is the case.

(fingers & toes crossed)

too many demand the N900, my order probably won't go through until the device is out at the store. But seriously if that is that case 4th December is the released date at flagship store then what is the point of Pre-ordering the device??????? if you can just walk into the store to buy it as many as you want for friends and family while you're over there? This just suck...

By the way I'm still waiting for mine though. Staring at the order details over 3hours now.. Crazy am i? yes i think so. Must be very crazy.. hope the device worth my time of being like a computer zombie

it always seems to be 50/50 with NZ Customs. I've had thousands of dollars worth of engine parts come through with no duty and plenty of electronics slip through. Pretty sure they just randomly select stuff to check.

So got this today Grrrrr Newegg fail. Worst part is I know they have them in stock they are filling orders now and people who pre ordered weeks ago are going without!!! frustrating still working on a reply any advise, I will start the "Squeaky wheel gets the oil" plan and annoy them so much that they send it just to shut me up.

Thank you for contacting Newegg.

After checking on our website, I found that we do not have the item as of this moment. In addition, we do not know when the item will be in stock. However, we recommend you to take the advantage of the auto notify online. Once the item is in stock, we will email you.

For your reference, once the item is in stock, we will retransfer the pre-order into a normal order and process the order within 1-2 business days before it is shipped out with your selected shipping method. In addition, we will email you once the pre-order is transferred into a normal order. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.

If you have any further questions or concerns, please visit our FAQs page. If you still need assistance, please feel free to email me directly and I will be more than happy to assist you.

Thank you,

Very interested to hear from any one else who has ordered through Newegg if they are being "Egged" around.

Also any one got an eta on there unit? I might as well be happy for someone : 0

No idea mate, But if you order from NOKIAUSA.com you can guaranteed that it will be at your door in maximum of 1 week, minimum is the next day.
They have it in stock. So better get in quick. Amazon also FAILED badly. I sent like 10 complaints and annoyed emails to Amazon as well. lol

lol you can't really pick a kiwi accent from the text lol. You will have to talk to the person. Anyway, 610USD is still pretty cheap. But Nokia USA is known to have problem with the CC. Sometimes it said FAILED or Invalid but they did charge u.

Then later they just plunging a cancellation email lol. But if you do get through then voila 1day to 5days you'll get the phone. No need to pre-order crap.

I'll give Amazon a few more days. THen may be calling up my sister again and let them get it from Nokia Instead.

With every passing day I wonder "Would I be better with an Android device?".

If only Nokia didn't balls up the N900 like they have.
