I have recently picked this handset up on the XT network and was wondering




  • Does GPS cost?

  • How do i get the Wifi internet to work

Ive got one and love it.
I havent tried the GPs but the Wifi is under connectivity in the settings menu. select wifi and to create a connection you need ti go into options/advanced to set one up.

GPS is free, but Google Maps on the W995 will not work over Wifi, which means all the map data will have to download over the cellular network, and will costs (cost varies according to your plan).

so if i use the Navigation program its free? Also are there any applications which i can buy/download to use on it.

navigation also downloads from the internet. It gets much more complex if you want to use GPS maps offline. Try researching trekbuddy for offline maps
