Check Nokias website to see if the phone supports PCSuite. If so, obtain that (its free), and get yourself a cable,ir or blouetooth connection (whichever the phone supports and is most convenient to you). If you need a cable, i would suggest buying one from phonestuff.co.nz - much cheaper than retail stores.

Vodafones WAP data rates are much better than Telecom's so you will be able to get tones via the web to your phone quite easily. I have not experimented with recent nokia's but I assume they use AMR format (get converter from Sony-Ericsson Website or see my old post)
the pc software also allows easy (free) installation of Java games and polyphonics.

Upload them to any old website and then try typing it the URL seeing if it'll download.

Vodafones WAP data rates are only $10 a meg versus Telecoms $50 a meg.

A 50k file will cost you only 50c.
