Hi I am looking at buying a Milestone off trademe,
It list's Network Frequencys as
"Network Band GSM 850, GSM 900, GSM 1800, GSM 1900, 3G 900 (Vodafone), 3G 2100 "

Im a bit of a n00b when it comes to phones / networks, so I was just wondering if this phone will indeed work in built up areas (AKL etc) on both 2g and 3g Vodafone.

Also does anyone recommend this phone or are there better androids to be had for around $500. (I would probably put Cyanogenmod7 rom on it)

milestone 2 is $719 (GST inclusive) http://www.mobicity.co.nz/others/motorola.html

maybe wait a bit more until you have enough fund. milestone1 is outdated. have you considered huawei x5?
