Hi
I have 4 domains registered with Domains4Less. One is linked to a site hosted by Weebly.
I want to redirect the other 3 to the main one.
The redirection works, but only redirects to the root level.
I want "otherdomain/specificpage" to redirect to "primarydomain/specificpage". Instead it just goes to "primarydomain".
Domains4Less say this is not possible, but it was working until they changed something recently (I was migrated to new nameservers)
Anyone got any advice? Thanks in advance.

Weird, i've got a redirect to a specific subpage running fine on my domain, so it definetly works.  Maybe reply back to them and ask if they can refer it to a senior to be double checked.

One of my url redirections on a domain hosted with them stopped working yesterday, upon logging in I had a new interface and something about a migration so I guess that happened overnight Tues-Wed.

Once I worked through the new layout I was able to add it back.

To be clear, I don't just need to redirect to a specific subpage, I want all subpages of the secondary domain to map to the same subpage of the primary domain.

so:

otherdomain/thispage --> primarydomain/thispage

otherdomain/thatpage --> primarydomain/thatpage

Right now I am getting

otherdomain/thispage --> primarydomain

otherdomain/thatpage --> primarydomain

Domains4Less have told me I could do

otherdomain/thispage --> primarydomain/thispage

otherdomain/thatpage --> primarydomain/thispage

(both going to same subpage) but that is not what I want.

OK, so Domains4Less have told me:

"You will likely need a hosting subscription or to use a third party service to achieve the desired URL redirection from a specific page on the domain to another long term.
As a temporary solution, setting your nameservers back to the old platform - ns1.nameserver.net.nz and ns2.nameserver.net.nz should re-activate the old URL re-direction configuration."

I tried setting the nameservers back to what they were before the migration (and had to clear my browser cache) and the redirect is now working properly, from subpage to subpage.  They called this a 'temporary' solution however, as I assume the old nameservers will be retired at some point.

Why would it work on the old nameservers but not on the new ones?

Hold that thought - just had another reply from them:

"The old nameservers that exist on the WebDrive infrastructure should be in place until the end of the year.
I've taken some time to look more into why the configuration in the old panel operates different considering they are the same.
The difference here is that the old platform uses a re-write style of forward instead of regular re-direction. This means that sub-page information is retained in the forward to the destination."
