I can't believe they're still replacing units this far out. I can't even remember how long we've had ours for. Dayum, nice one Spark/TiVo.

For those who got your TiVo units replaced for free, did you get them from Telecom back in the day or did you buy them from a retail outlet?

I purchased mine from Noel Leeming and the HDMI port is no longer working (Component video ports are working fine).

I got mine free from Telecom for resigning for one year with them :)

I got mine using Westpac hotpoints from Noel Leemings. I have just been sent a brand new Remote  by Spark. They said if it didn't fix my problem, they would replace the Tivo unit. The new remote is working faultlessly.

Good luck to those that think Freeview plus can replace TiVo, freeview plus will delete recordings after 7 days, you will be stuck with ads. TiVo still is the best PVR option for non pay TV. Wish I could add the TiVo interface to one of my Vu Duos

I believe in the US that TiVo has licensed their software  for OEM use.  Would be nice if someone in NZ or AU  built a DVR with the TiVo interface as TiVo in Ozz isn't interested..

No not absolutely, as I am not using or intend to use, but advertised as time limited.
