I decided to fire up a modded TiVo and it looked like it was working OK but I thought it might be a good idea to Clear all settings but at the end of "Getting Program Info" I get an "unrecoverable error"
"Loading Info" (Error S03)

"To resolve this problem, you should restart the media device and repeat the guided setup from the beginning"
Tried that and I get the same results.

Any ideas?

Thanks. Might hold fire on getting the hard drive replaced/buying a replacement Tivo then (the clear data etc suggestion above didn’t work).

Can you also check and advise whether your Tivo is displaying the correct current date and time from the System Information page. Without your TSN number (on the label on the rear of the Tivo) it will be like finding a needle in a haystack.

Interestingly since I cleared the programme data etc it is no longer displaying the S03 error, it is connecting successfully and downloading completely, but just not updating the Guide?

Someone I've done a TiVo for last year has recently reported this as well.

What I've read about S03 is that a CPI&TDL, deleting season passes and/or leaving the network disconnected for a few days has fixed the issue for a several people.

The guy I did the TiVo for started guided setup and is now stuck there as the S03 is preventing guided setup from completing, blocking access to CPI&TDL and the season pass manager. He's away on business for a week with the network unplugged, hopefully that will clear it.

My gut feeling is that it will likely resolve itself in a few days. I've passed your TSN on to the local EPG server guy and he's taking a look. Once a Tivo has downloaded guide data, the OzTivo server won't send the same data again unless your specific TSN is reset at the server by request. Otherwise, once you clear the data in your Tivo, you'll need to wait a few days before newer data becomes available to download. A full clear and delete allows you to retrieve a full EPG however. This is based on experience only, and a little I've picked up from the developers. It may not be entirely correct.

Wondering the same thing  when I saw this today.  May not be the TiVo brand back  but the TiVo  architecture for a Telstra branded DVR as they have done in other countries..

This was identical to my situation.

 

When I tried it again yesterday after being disconnected for a few days it completed the "Guided Setup" without a hitch.

Certainly reads like Telstra will be utilising TiVo's core for their own STB.  Does make you wonder what happens when that "multi-year" license is up but assume subscribers will have another box forced on them like Telecom used to do with phones as they chopped and changed between substandard mobile networks.

 

Was also amused to read “This announcement marks TiVo’s continued growth in the Australian market...".  Continued growth?  Really?

I have a modded S3. I noticed that 3Life has no EPG. Anybody else having this problem? Who can we contact to get this sorted?

Yeah I have noticed that. Also lost TVone guide this week. Everything else is there and current.

Yeah the guide for TV 1 on mine just says news at 6 and 1 News at midday up until 6am tomorrow then it looks like sundays guide from 6 am tomorrow ?

 

Its said that for the last couple of days now. I'm watching ellen but the guide says 1 news at midday.
