Has anyone successfully installed TivoWeb or TivoWebPlus on the Series 3 Tivos available in NZ (with or without the Oztivo hacks)? Most of the sites mentioning these packages seem to refer to S1 and S2, and are a decade old.

I found a repository in SourceForge, at https://sourceforge.net/projects/tivowebplus/files/tivowebplus/. I tried installing the two most recent versions, and each had different problems. Version 1.3.1 seemed to install OK, but when I ran it, it reported an error with the tuner count. Version 2.1.0 installed with most filenames ending in ",v" (for example, "tivoweb,v"), and had a page full of exceptions during the installation.

Yes, I run Tivowebplus on my S3... there is already a service listening on port 80 so use a different port.

Thanks... I had already seen the recommendation to use port 8080. Do you have a link to the installation files and instructions?

Thanks for the link. I installed it, and I'm getting the same error as before:

invalid attribute: TunerCount
while executing
"dbobj $AvConfig get TunerCount"
invoked from within
"set num_tuners [dbobj $AvConfig get TunerCount]"
("uplevel" body line 36)
invoked from within
"uplevel $body"
invoked from within
"transaction {uplevel $body}"
(procedure "RetryTransaction" line 5)
invoked from within
"RetryTransaction {

I'll keep hacking...

Correct, it's not running by default. Assuming that your Tivo has the Oztivo modifications, you can telnet to it and then run /hack/bin/tivoftpd.
