I keep coming back to this forum to see if other people are having the same issue.

It's Friday 1st June, 06:40am and for this morning:

TV1 (a typical entry at the moment)

12:00 pm '1 News At Midday'

6:00 pm '1 News At 6 pm'

6:00 am 'ATe KarereA'  -- As spelt in the Guide.

6:30 am+ Look OK

TV1+ (looks OK)

6:35 am 'Te Karere'

7:00 am Breakfast

TV2 (looks OK)

TV3 (incorrect)

5:00 am 'Informercials'

4:00 pm 'Newshub Live at 4pm'

6:00 pm 'Newshub Live at 6pm'

(the above 2 entries repeat)

TV3+ (looks OK)

The Tivo accidently had the power pulled on it a couple of days a ago, and it restarted OK, but this issue is older than the restart.

This really isn't a TiVo problem, this is a problem with the information that is coming in to the EPG, from other threads, it looks like things are happening behind the scenes to sort out these issues when there are data problems with the EPG

Yes. I've noticed these errors too, mostly on TV1 then switching to TV3 in the following week. I have 2 modified TiVos with it obviously occuring on both

The problem has caused me to fail to record booked events (Series Bookings).

Does anyone know where the data is sourced from? Is it then all manually compiled in Australia?

Can't complain too loudly though, as I gather it's mostly achieved by volunteer enthusiasts.

If you check the main Tivo thread, you'll see that this is known about, and work is being done to correct these problems. The NZ EPG data is dependent on data being available, and as you've noticed, there have been some problems over the last couple of weeks due to big gaps in the data they depend upon. This doesn't mean that things are broken permanently, and they are being handled by volunteers here in NZ, not Australia.  They would prefer to remain anonymous for reasons I'm not going to go into here. They are volunteers with real jobs and this has to take a back seat at times. As you'll be aware, this is the first real outage since the OzTivo service started for our series 3 machines. A whole new system is currently in test that will hopefully be more resilient, but it won't happen over night. Despite requests to the community for additional  xml feeds to help with this redundancy, nothing has come forth so far. Australia's data is compiled on a totally separate system, and they are currently battling with more issues than us relating to Daylight Saving and multiple time zones.

If you're missing recordings, do what others have been doing, and record them on the 2+1 channel until TV2 data is back up. Sure it's only SD, but better than nothing.

Tivo upgrades to operate with the new OzTivo EPG, support and service. Over 280 performed here so far.
