I'm in Dunedin and having the same issue for the last week or so. Haven't logged an issue with TiVo yet. I'm sure it's been posted many times but can anyone point me towards the faults phone number?

Another 1 for Dunedin.

Rescaned Dads on Tuesday for the restacking & every morining since, the TVNZ Mux has been lost.
Has any body done a complete factory Reset instead of just a channel rescan?

Will get Dad to lodge a fault with Tivo about it.

The number is 0800 69 8486. You should definitely log a job. At this stage they don't seem to know that it is now an issue in Dunedin since the restacking. The help desk guy I spoke to had had no other reports from Dunedin at that time (Friday night).

i contacted TiVo the other day about this

We believe that this might have been caused by the addition of some new broadcasters in various regions of New Zealand. Our New Zealand Operations team has been working closely with TiVo Inc US and with the broadcasters in New Zealand to get to the bottom of this issue and they believe that they have isolated the source.

they give the option to take part in the testing of this problem and it seems to of fixed it for us.  update is due out in the 1st quarter of this year so if you want to be part of the testing just write them, tell them what is happening and they will guide you through joining up for testing the update  testing@hybridtv.com.au

I am having the same issue in the Timaru/South Canterbury area.
Have emailed the technical guys in Australia who are working on a fix for the bug and they tell me that an NZ wide fix will be released at the end of February.

Another TiVo unit in Dunedin here too.
Losing all the TVNZ channels every night. Very frustrating.

Just emailed hybrid Australia to see if they can push the beta software to my unit.

I'm just going to wait until the end of the month.
It takes me 5 minutes to repeat the setup to fix the problem which is not a problem for the time being.

Same problem here in Dunedin, getting the lineup change error. Had my TiVo just on 2 days now.
I have been wondering if its anything to do with TV9, as that gets scanned, but is not automatically ticked on the channel list. Maybe they are playing around with settings for TV9 and its bumping off the TVNZ channels?

Damn, wish I had come across this thread before but couldn't find it in Googling. At least I found it before calling in the aerial guys for a problem I wasn't convinced was to do with the aerial.

DUNEDIN here.

TVNZ MUX drops out every single day in the early hours of the morning. In troubleshooting with TiVo helpdesk this morning I put two and two together and worked out that this must be happening when the TiVo connects to TiVo services because in Network the "last connection" always coincides with roughly the time I lose my channels.

Can't beleive that there is another thread here which is over 200 days old saying that an update would be forthcoming within a few weeks. Very unhappy.

At least for Dunedin this ONLY started happening after 24 January which was when the Dunedin frequencies were re-tuned.

Anyone in Dunedin who had these issues prior to 24 January?

And have retunes affected other people around the country with regards this problem?

Are there any disadvantages/cautions to going onto beta testing aside from the fact it's a beta?

The disadvantage I believe is that Caspa might not work? You won't get too much info from people on the beta because I think they have to sign an NDA?

i've noticed no disadvantages. It's doesn't make any features not work, like CASPA or the Genie. I have noticed a few advantages, but cannot explain because of the NDA
