Does anyone know what kind of SD-Radio card for Zire 72? If there is, please advise where would I get it from. Provide detail as much as possible. I'd greatly appreciate it. Thank you very much.

There's a SD radio for Palm at iBiz. It lists only Zire 71, so you have to ask them before buying to make sure it works.

I've read reviews that say that for the price, it's got very bad sound quality. And you can only access FM radio. Originally, I was thinking about this but eventually decided against it. You can get a cheap FM radio that's small enough to fit your pocket and probably has better reception than this. I've even seen some dollar stores selling cheap AM/FM radios or just FM radios.

I really never thought of having a FM radio on my PDA. It seems like something that can break easily, adds bulk to the PDA, and costs a lot, for a feature that as you say can be purchased for cheap on a dollar store...

Initially, I was thinking about convenience like get everything in a whole package. You all know how it is; you've so many gadgets to carry around w/ u. I did read a review about bad reception on the SD radio card, but i'm willing to take a chance if there is such a SD radio card for Zire 72. i can bid on Ebay. I think the quality of product will come in time for the better improvement, hopefully soon. Otherwise, I could've got MP3 player. They are so fantastic right now, but I will wait for that to happen. If you have any better suggestion, please let's me know. Millions Thanks to you all.

This SD radio has been around for a long time and I've not heard or read anything new about it for years. Actually, iBiz was going through major debt restructuring so if you're hoping to get better updates on it, you're not. They haven't come up with anything really new for quite a while. Their virtual lazer keyboard wasn't really completed and I think someone else came up with it. You're getting something that is a few years old technology without any new enhancements or updates. If you check their website, the latest version 2 Radio card only supports up to Zire 71, not Zire 72 so unless you're a programmer and can figure out how to program a driver that will allow you to use it, it doesn't look like it will work for you.

That sounded so discouraged and pathetic. I was just hoping a new competitor taking over and improving the product or re-structured and re-designed it. Well, let's see what happens or maybe nothing happens as you think. Thanks for the tips

Well, it doesn't hurt to contact them regarding drivers for the Zire 72 if you're interested. But in my opinion, I don't think it's worth the money and as I've mentioned previously, I did consider getting it at one time but really decided against it after thinking it over.
