What time did you order from ITD? Have you heard anything back from them yet?

tonyhughes: I too have ordered one from pp just now. Not sure whats going on there. I emailed yesterday just after 10am as well, when the offer was made.

Have put Direct Credit as payment, but will pay instantly via CC if there is a unit available.

I did the same, but IIRC that RexHavoc's company, so I expect to be NAKed due to being well down the queue. Like you, I'm prepared to pay via credit card, and would even be prepared to pay a little more. Heck, if it helps my cause, I'm in the market for some external storage (< $100) for our Athletics club, and would be happy to put that on the order too.

Just spoke to PP (Thanks for your time Mark).

There is no stock - don't bother ordering one, despite their website saying they currently have them in stock.

As for the 10 from yesterday - he is still waiting to find out if they materialise.

Based on the number of emails he got, if you emailed him after 10.10 yesterday (thats when I did), totally forget about being in the first ten. Even before that, there were LOTS (so probably still forget about it).

He is working on the website now.

Good news (for me at least): My cousin in Phoenix emailed to say touchpad turned up at her place today.

I bought from Amazon/Onsale on Sunday - still shocked as my Amazon order still hasn't changed from "shipping soon"...but end result is a great one.

Just put an order in with them, highly doubt that they will have any but I selected bank transfer as payment anyway so no great loss if they don't.

djpaubes: Yeah I think they ran out about 7am and then they removed it from the site. I spoke to them on the phone yesterday and they defiantly had at least a couple of both in stock. Unless they did a Noel lemmings haha

They are trying to get facebook likes to win an iPad..maybe they should swap it for a touchpad (writing this on my ipad)

I'd swap you!

Seems I'll be getting a Touchstone charger before I get my hands on ANY TouchPad.
