I consider buying the Canon PowerShot A590IS camera, because it seems to get very good reviews. But when I look around for where to buy it, I see that DickSmith doesn't seem to have it. And Google only returns me places in Australia, even if I ask for New Zealand.

Does anyone know where in New Zealand I could get that camera?

Thank you very much...

Update: Ugh, never mind. I just found it on DSE's web site. Looks like there was some malfunction somewhere behind the keyboard... :-(

Now you just need to head into DSE so you can have a play for yourself!

All of big box retailers should stock this model.

The A590IS replaced the A570IS quite recently so some retailers may still be waiting on stock. It usually takes a while for new models to become widely available here.

One NZ supplier has 4 in stock, so other online retailers should start listing it soon.

Have checked DSEs price, its quite high, so if you havnt brought one yet PM me and ill see what I can do...

dgashby: Photowarehouse...

Better off to buy it from DSE considering it's only $20 extra. Photowarehouse is prob going to add shipping later. There are over 50 DSE stores nationwide where you go to get it repaired under warranty VS an online store which you would have to ship back the camera to at your own cost.
