Hey, just confirmed with a few others that Facebook has been super slow from about 7.50PM onwards Easter Monday 2013. It's 10:33PM and it's still slow.. verified its not my ISP as I've tested from two connections - one Telecom and the other Vibe Communications.

It seems to be working fine via the mobile site, but any desktop attempts are ultra slow and occasionally time out.

Anyone got the scoop on this yet? I'm assuming DDOS attack?

It's no slower than normal for me, although I always find it slow and clunky.

I should probably note I'm in Auckland and this issue is only related to desktop version of using Chrome. The mobile (iPhone app) seems fine.

Where abouts are you viewing Facebook from? Wellington?

It's running smooth as for me on my DSL Vodafone connection from Auckland. 10:49pm Easter Monday. In fact it's running a tad faster than usual.

Working fine for me on snap vdsl, and just tried it on the downloading machine which is a really tired old P4 on slingshot and its working as well as can be expected for an antique computer.

Looks like FaceBook had a Load balancing issue earlier on and this is now come right
