Hi guys. Hope you all are safe and well.

I've just heard of Mastodon Open Source Social Network and it looks pretty interesting.

Is anyone here using it? Would love to add you there! 😀

I think mastodon got a little popular a year or two back, because of all the lack of work from twitter to shut down hate speech etc. But don’t think it ever gained enough popularity. Also aren’t there different mastodons making it hard to be in place place with your friends?

I know I signed up at the time, but honestly haven’t looked at it since.

It was popular a couple of years ago. Then some nodes got full of right-wing, nazis who were banned from Twitter.

Don't go there.

"Mastodon was launched as a decentralized, social justice friendly Twitter alternative that was free of Nazis and harassment. But two years later, the biggest Mastodon instance is now Gab, a far-right social media network known widely as a gathering space for white supremacists."
